Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Meal Plan at meal-plan.example (the “Service”). The Service is run by VORALINE LIMITED, registered in Hong Kong under number 79399298, at 22F, 33 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). By using the Service or buying a licence you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is

Meal Plan is software that generates meal plans, recipes and shopping lists from the settings you give it. It is a planning tool. It is not medical, nutritional or dietetic advice, and it does not replace a doctor or registered dietitian. Please read our health disclaimer.

2. Licences and payment

• Paid access is sold as a one-off lifetime licence at the tier you choose. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
• “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate the Service. If we ever close it, we will give at least 90 days’ notice and let you export your saved plans.
• Your licence includes future updates to the features in your tier. New features may be added to higher tiers only.
• You can upgrade at any time by paying the difference between the price you paid and the current price of the new tier.
• Prices are in euros and are the final price you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

3. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. When you buy, you ask for access straight away and agree that you lose this right once access begins. On top of that, we offer a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee. See our refund policy.

4. Your account

• Give us an email address you control and keep access to it secure.
• Licences are personal. Family and Elite tiers cover the profiles in one household. Plans may not be used commercially, for example for paying clients.
• Don’t share your login, resell access, or scrape, copy or redistribute our recipes or data.

5. Content

Recipes, text, images, software and plans generated by the Service belong to us or our licensors. You may use plans for yourself and your own household only. You may not publish our recipe library or resell it as your own product.

6. Accuracy

We work hard to keep nutrition data accurate, but values are estimates. Ingredients, brands and portion sizes vary. Always check product labels for allergens. We are not responsible for reactions to ingredients you did not exclude in your settings, or that are present in products you buy.

7. Liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we do so without good reason, we will refund the licence fee.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring claims there. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
